The study also found that many orchards don\u2019t get enough pollen to their flowers, with only 28% of flowers pollinated by insects turning into fruit, compared to 39% of flowers that were hand-pollinated. The best results came when both honey bees and mason bees were present together in the orchards\u2014they helped more flowers turn into fruit than when just one type of bee was present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main point is that both honey bees and mason bees are important for pollination, and when they work together, they can really improve the number of fruits produced.
