A Harvest Worth the Wait
An unusually wet Texas spring delayed the first honey pull—but once the weather settled, the colonies surged with activity and produced one of the strongest harvests yet.

Smaller Colonies. Stronger Bees.
For the 2026 season, the beekeepers focused on keeping colonies smaller, balanced, and strong instead of allowing the hives to become oversized. Honey supers and queen excluders were added only when each queen reached her peak laying cycle, giving the bees the space and timing they needed to do what they do best.
The operation expanded to four apiary locations throughout Van Alstyne, Texas. Every location produced healthy, productive colonies. Hive beetle pressure stayed very low, mite levels remained manageable, and the bees remained remarkably strong from spring through summer.

Honey bees gather nectar from Texas clover and the seasonal mix of flowers blooming around their hives. The result is honey that carries the story of the land—the flowers that opened, the weather the bees experienced, and the careful work of the beekeeper tending each colony.
This year’s honey is a little darker than the previous harvest, giving it a richer flavor and a more robust finish while remaining smooth and delicious. Because real honey reflects its season and forage, every harvest is naturally unique.

Every bottle is harvested, extracted, and bottled at Farrell Farms in Van Alstyne, Texas. Drizzle it over biscuits, toast, fruit, yogurt, or oatmeal. Stir it into tea, use it in marinades, or enjoy a spoonful when you want to taste the flowers the bees visited.

Naturally unique: Real honey may vary in color and flavor and can crystallize over time. Crystallization is normal and does not affect quality. Gently warm the bottle in warm water to return it to a liquid state.
