This certification recognizes experienced, trained beekeepers who are committed to responsible beekeeping, pollinator stewardship, and community education.
Approved applicants receive an annual certificate, a dated certification patch, and permission to identify themselves as a Save The Bees USA Certified Beekeeper while their certification remains active.
Applicants must:
Be at least 18 years old
Have completed formal beekeeper training
Provide supporting documentation
Agree to follow responsible beekeeping and public-safety practices
One year of certification
Personalized certificate
Annual certification patch
Approved digital certification badge
Eligibility for directory placement
Consideration for educational and community opportunities
The annual certification fee is $99.

No. This is a private certification and recognition program.
How long does certification last?
Certification is valid for one year and must be renewed annually.
Does certification guarantee teaching opportunities?
No. Certified beekeepers may be considered for opportunities, but assignments are not guaranteed.
